Who is Gayatri Mata God
The origin of the four Vedas is believed to be from the mother Gayatri God. That is why Gayatri Mantra God is also considered to be the essence of Vedas. It is believed that after taking the knowledge of the four Vedas, the virtue that is attained, only by understanding the Gayatri Mantra God, one gets the knowledge of the four Vedas. How was the incarnation of Gayatri
It is believed that the Gayatri God Mantra appeared on Lord Brahma at the beginning of the universe. With the grace of Mother Gayatri God, Brahma Ji interpreted the Gayatri God Mantra as four Vedas with his four faces. In the beginning, Gayatri God was limited only to the deities, but just as Bhagiratha brought down Ganga Maiya from heaven to earth by austere penance, in the same way Vishwamitra, by doing rigorous meditation, brought the glory of Mother Gayatri God means Gayatri God Mantra to the common man.
When is Gayatri Jayanti celebrated
There are different opinions regarding the date of Gayatri God Jayanti. In some places, the date of Ganga Dussehra and Gayatri God Jayanti is said to be the same, while some celebrate it on the next day from Ganga Dussehra i.e. Ekadashi of Jyeshtha month. On the other hand, Shravan Poornima is also celebrated on the occasion of Gayatri Jayanti. Gayatri God Jayanti is celebrated in most places on the day of Shravan Purnima. Gayatri God Jayanti is also celebrated on Jyeshtha Shukla Dashami-Ekadashi.
Glory of Gayatrimata God
Many things have been said in the glory of Gayatri God, from sages of ancient India to thinkers of modern India. Vedas, Shastras and Puranas sing the glory of Mother Gayatri God. In Atharvaveda, Mother Gayatri God is said to be the goddess who bestows life, life, power, fame, wealth and Brahmatej.
Ved Vyas, the author of Mahabharata, says in the glory of Gayatri God, just as there is honey in flowers, ghee in milk in essence, similarly Gayatri God is the essence of all Vedas. If Gayatri God is perfected, then it is like Kamdhenu (the divine cow who fulfills wishes). Just as Ganga washes away the sins of the body, cleanses the body and mind, similarly, the soul becomes pure from the Ganges in the form of Gayatri God.
Vishwamitra, who took Gayatri God to the general public, says that Brahma ji has extracted the Gayatri God Mantra with three steps, the essence of the three Vedas. There is no other mantra more purifying than Gayatri God. A person who regularly chants Gayatri God becomes free from sins in the same way as a snake is freed from the earthworm.
