Battle of Sugriva and Bali

A monkey named Sugriva lives with some of his companions on the Rishyamuka mountain in the south. Let us tell you that Sugriva is the younger brother of King Bali of Kishkinda, between whom there is a difference of opinion. Because of which Bali expels Sugriva from his kingdom of Kishkinda and also keeps his wife with him.

Thus both the brothers become enemies of each other's life and Sugriva somehow saves his life from Bali. And they stay in a cave on Rishyumka mountain to hide from them.

On the other hand, when Rama and Lakshmana come towards the Malay Mountains in search of Sita, Sugriva's monkeys see them. And they tell Sugriva that two strong young men of good stature are coming towards the mountain with bows and arrows in their hands. .

Hearing this, Sugriva feels that his enemy brother Bali has some trick. He sends his friend Hanuman to him to know about it.

Ram's meeting with his favorite devotee Hanuman

Following the orders of Sugriva, Hanuman ji goes to Lord Rama, disguised as a brahmin. He asks Lord Rama what he is doing in the jungles as a king-like personality, but Lord Rama remains silent.

After which Humman himself speaks his truth in front of him and tells that he is a monkey and has come here at the behest of Sugriva. After which Ram tells them about himself.

On the other hand, when Hanuman ji comes to know that he is Maryada Purushottam Ram. His happiness knows no bounds and gets emotional and falls at the feet of Lord Rama. Actually Hanuman ji is a great devotee of Lord Rama since birth and he was always waiting for him to meet Lord Rama. In this way Lord Rama meets his beloved devotee Hanuman.

After the meeting of Ram-Hanuman, Lakshman ji tells them that Sita-Mata has been kidnapped by someone, and they have come here in search of them.

Hearing this, Hanuman ji tells them about the monkey Sugriva and also says that Sugriva will help him in finding Mother Sita. After this Hanuman goes to Sugriva with Rama and Lakshmana.

In this way Lord Rama and Sugriva became friends with the help of the devotee Hanuman and then Sugriva had also sought help from Lord Rama to kill his brother Bali.

Bali's Slaughter

Lord Rama, being a true friend, understands the sad heart of Vanara Sugriva and vows to bring back his kingdom Kishkindha from his enemy brother Bali. Maryada Purushottam Ram, along with his friend Sugriva, kills Bali.

In this way his kingdom of Sugriva gets back to Kishkindha and his wife. Sugriva then promises Lord Rama to help him find his wife Sita.

Sugriva played friendship

At present, Sugriva was placed on the throne of Kishkindha with the help of Lord Rama. But during this time he becomes so engrossed in the pleasure that he forgets the promise given to Lord Rama.

Bali's wife Tara informs Lakshmana. Hearing this, Lakshmana gets angry and sends a message to Sugriva that. If he forgets the promise given to Lord Rama, he will destroy the entire monkey army.

After this, Sugriva remembers the promise given to his friend Lord Rama and obeying Lakshmana's words. He sends his monkey groups to the four corners of the world in search of Mother Sita. Whereas the ape explorers of the North, West and East teams returned empty handed.

Whereas the search team in the south direction was led by Angad and Hanuman, and they all stopped by going to the shore of the ocean. Then Angad and Hanuman got information from Jatayu's elder brother Sampati that Mother Sita was taken by the Lankapati King Ravana to Lanka by force. After this Sugriva along with Lord Rama, Lakshmana and his army marches towards Lanka to rescue Mother Sita.
