Lanka Kand
The Lanka Kand is the sixth episode of the epic Ramayana by Maharishi Valmiki. There are 5692 verses in this part of the epic.

It is believed that by reciting the Lankakand or Yudhkand of Ramayana, the victory of the enemy, one gets rid of the defects of enthusiasm and exception.
Construction of ram setu
When Lord Rama reached the beach to bring Mata Sita back from the clutches of the demon Ravana from Lanka. After that, to cross that vast sea, two monkeys of Rama's army, which are mentioned by the name Nal-Nil, built the bridge of Ram Setu.
Let us tell you that the monkey army had built this bridge in the middle of the sea by writing the name of Ram in special stones. It was believed that this 30-mile long bridge connects India and Sri Lanka with land.
Ram Sethu Bridge is a long chain made of limestone between Rameshwaram Island along the southeast coast of Tamil Nadu-India, on which Rama-Lakshmana and the Vanara army climbed to Lanka to bring Mother-Sita.
Angad went to Ravana as a messenger, but the arrogant Ravana did not listen
Lankadhipati went to Ravana as the messenger of Lord Rama to bring back Mother Sita peacefully, during which he also challenged all the warriors of Ravana, he asked to shake his feet by putting his feet in the ground.

Seeing this, Ravana, the messenger of Lord Rama, came to shake the feet of Angad, then Angad told him, hold the feet of the foolish Lord Rama, not me, who has created this entire creation and apologize for your actions, along with Lord Rama. return his wife with respect, but the powerful and arrogant Ravana did not listen because he wanted only one and only war.

At the same time, when all the efforts to bring back Mother Sita in peace failed, then the war started. First of all, the war started between Lakshmana and Ravana's brother Meghnath. In this battle, Lakshmana gets injured by the power arrow.
After which Vaidya asks Hanuman ji to bring Sanjeevani. But when Hanuman ji does not recognize the medicine, he takes the entire Sanjeevani mountain for the treatment of Lakshmana. After which Lakshmana recovers and then uses his power to kill the evil Medhanath.
Wake up from the slumber
Lord Ravana sends Kumbhakarna to wake him up for the war between Rama and Ravana. At the same time, Kumbhakarna also gets success from the hands of Lord Rama in the war.
Ram-Ravan's War
There are many wars one after the other in the Lanka-Kand, but the war between Lord Rama and the mighty Ravana was a very big war.
In which the huge army of Ravana had hatched a hard plan to defeat. Lord Rama's monkey army and the mighty soldiers were also invited to take part in this war on his side.
But in front of the glory of Lord Rama, all the conspiracies of Ravana proved to be unsuccessful and at the hands of Lord Rama, the great evil demon ended.
The kingdom of Lanka handed over to Vibhishana
After the death of the demon Ravana, Lord Rama selected Vibhishana to take charge of Lanka and placed him on the throne of Lanka.
After which the coronation of Vibhishana was also done with great pomp. And the people here were also troubled by the torture of Ravana and she was in search of a majestic and just king.
In this way the subjects also get a good king in the form of Vibhishana.
Ram-Sita meeting in Lanka, Mother-Sita's ordeal and return to Ayodhya
After the killing of Ravana, Lord Rama meets Mother Sita. At the same time, Lord Rama, unwillingly, asks Mother Sita to undergo an ordeal to prove her purity. Because Lord Rama wants to prove the rumors spread about the purity of Mother Sita.
After which Mother Sita prepares for the ordeal to follow the orders of her Lord, while when she enters the fire, she is not harmed.
By which she proves that she is as pure as fire. At the same time, the time of 14 years of exile of Lord Rama, Mata Sita and Lakshman was over.
After which they return to Ayodhya where they are given a warm welcome. On this day, there is a very dark night of the new moon of Kartik month, but with the arrival of Lord Rama, the entire city of Ayodhya is lit up with the light of lamps.
After returning to Ayodhya, the coronation of Lord Rama takes place. And then the Ram Rajya begins.
