Uttarkand
Uttarkand is the last step of the epic Ramayana of Hinduism. There are 111 cantos and 3432 verses in it. The description of the happy life of King Rama, the sacrifice of Sita ji and the birth of Luv-Kush is found in the Uttarkand.
According to the Puranas, Uttarkand is recited for a happy life and a pleasant journey. Uttarkand can also be called the essence of Ramayana. In this part all the characteristics of Maryada Purushottam Shri Ram have been described.
Birth of Luv-Kush
After becoming the king of Lord Shri Ram, Lord Rama lives a happy life with his wife Mata Sita. At the same time, Mother Sita becomes pregnant after some time.
During this time the news of Mother-Sita living in Lanka in Ayodhya started spreading like fire. At that time if a wife stayed away from her husband even for a night, she was not allowed to enter her husband's house again.
At the same time, questions began to arise on Raja Ram regarding this. And again the residents of Ayodhya demand the ordeal of Sita ji, but seeing all this, Mother Sita herself leaves Ayodhya.
After which Valmiki gives shelter to Sita, where Mother Sita gives birth to two twin sons of Lord Rama, Luv and Kush. And thus Luv and Kush become disciples of Maharishi Valmiki and take education from him.
Ashwamedha Yagya
According to literature, when Maharishi Valmiki informed Luv-Kush about it. Only then he composed this epic Ramayana and informed Luv Kush about it.
At the same time, when Lord Rama organizes the Ashwamedha Yagya, in which Maharishi Valmiki joins it along with Luv and Kush. Lav and Kush sing the Ramayana composed by Maharishi Valmiki before Lord Rama and his people. While singing the news of Luv Kush being exiled to Mother Sita, Lord Rama is very sad.
Then Mother Sita comes there. At the same time, Mother Sita tells Lord Rama about Luv-Kush. In this way Lord Rama comes to know that Luv Kush is his own son.
And then Mother Sita calls upon Mother Earth to take her in her lap, and Mother Sita gets absorbed in it when the earth bursts. At the same time, after a few years, the angels come. And inform Lord Rama that the purpose of his Rama incarnation has now been fulfilled, and his life span is also over.
Lord Rama then enters the Sarayu river with the blessings of all his relatives and teachers. And from there they assume their real Vishnu form and go to their abode. And thus ends this entire Ramayana story.
What do we learn from Ramayana
In this way, from the epic Ramayana, we get the lesson of the victory of good over evil, that is, the evil doers always end like Ravana. We also learn about unity in diversity, that is, the three queens of King Dasharatha are shown separately. Then There is also unity in the family, which helps in getting out of the time of sorrow.
Along with this, lessons are also learned from Ramayana to have good company. The importance of good company was also well explained in the Ramayana, just as Kaikeyi loved Rama more than her son Bharata.
But under the guise of her maid Manthara, King Dasharatha asks for a boon to send Bharat to the throne and Rama to exile for 14 years. While if Manthara does not provoke them, then Lord Rama would not have been exiled for 14 years, so the effect of good company is good. only occurs.
Apart from this, in the Ramayana, the life is lost but the word does not go, that is, once the promise is given, then it learns to fulfill it, even if it does not cost life.
Apart from this, lessons of true devotion and unshakable faith and devotion are also learned. Like in Ramayana, Hanuman ji showed unwavering faith and love and devoted himself in true spirit in the devotion of Lord Rama.
There is also a lesson to be treated equally with everyone from Ramayana, as the humble conduct of Lord Rama teaches us that we should respect everyone, along with this, Lord Ram has given Shabari's love above caste and religion. Berry was also consumed.
From which it is learned that we are all equal and we should eliminate the feeling of caste and live with love. Apart from this, this lesson is learned from the love and kindness of Lord Ram, we should always have mercy.
We also learn from the Ramayana about sacrifice, sacrifice, service and respect for women. The text of Ramayana also teaches that forgiveness is a better character than revenge just as Ravana was a wise man.
But kidnapping Mata-Sita became the reason for his downfall. This shows that we burn ourselves in the fire of vengeance in order to harm others.
